We will be heading to GC on the 1st week of June. 7 nights in total, free and easy. We will be based in GC for 6 nights and 1 night in Brisbane, pre-flight enroute to SG. Tripadvisor has been a wonderful reference guide for us in planning for our itinerary. After reading multiple trip reports, we now feel 7N is a tad short! GC is way too happening!
Anyway, we're still in the midst of firming up our itinerary. Esp for our scenic drive adventure. We read Springbrook has breathtaking waterfall views, while Tamborine too has its own unique flavors. For the latter, one being the glow worms attraction which we plan to visit. We know it's a man-made cave attraction, but we don't really mind as we will be having our 2 monsters in tow, aged 3 and 6. We feel Tamborine is a better option for its operation time ie. 10am-4pm. Plan to leave GC in the morning after breakfast, proceed to Tamborine first, then enroute back GC, pass by Springbrook.
Does our planned scenic drive above allow us to enjoy the beautiful views of both Springbrook and Tamborine? We really hope to see the waterfall. We don't have real waterfalls here in SG. Also a chance to relive a mini Amazon experience for my monsters who enjoy their Plus, we plan to drive on a weekend, so any advice on road and human traffic?
Really hope to get help on this. Thank you in advance.
