Working Holiday Gold Coast

Good evening,

My name is Roy and i was wondering if anyone could help me out that actually lives in gold coast or has also been to gold coast for a working holiday.

Me and my gf are moving to gold coast end of august, we are not back-packing but actually trying to find a nice job so we can get a afforable appartment so we can enjoy a year in the gold coast.

So first of we are looking for a nice area, since i am an aircraft mechanic and my girlfriend is an beauty therapist i was thinking of an area not to far from some boat harbors (where i might find a job) and close to the beach. Since i guess there will be some nice spa's for my gf to work at.

If someone has some nice links or advise that can help us just let me know.

All info is welcome.

Everything is close to one beach or another in the Gold Coast, and everywhere is accessible by transport, so I wouldn't put all your priority on proximity to work as your criteria for finding accommodation.

You won't get any bigger than Gold Coast City Marina - http://www.gccm.com.au

Day Spas are everywhere, just Google. And employment website - http://www.seek.com.au
