NY accomodation suggestions in launceston

can anyone comment on the lido apartments?

our other options are: highbury, the edwardian, adina place and launceston apartments - any comments?

we will be there over new years- although with a baby we are resigned to spending the night in - what happens in NY in launny?

Pindle, there's a big entertainment, food, wine, fireworks thing on in Royal Park down on the waterfront on New Year's Eve. That's the big event. Features a Michael Jackson impersonator this year !!! (Truly! Must be on loan from Hey Hey.) Plus other, more sensitive entertainment as well.

There's an early fireworks show at 9 30pm for the kids.

Tickets go on sale on 3rd November at the Toutist Info Centre http://www.ltvtasmania.com.au/

Lido is OK. Kurrajong House is also good. The others you mention are also OK.

Hi Pindle

those options are all quite good, you cant really go wrong with any of them!

And the event at Royal Park is probably the biggest event in Launceston. A few restaurants will most likely be having celebrations, too, but the one at Royal Park is the most family friendly.
