Plastic bag and decanted bottles for domestic flight ?

I will be flying Virgin Sydney-Launceston return. Do I need to decant moisturisers into small containers and place in a plastic bag ?

Nope ... those 100ml limits do not apply to domestic flights. Take a bucket of moisturizer if you want.

I think the bucket would need a lid in case of turbulence

The bucket won't spill if it's suspended from a rope tied to the handle.

I presumed the moisturizer was quite thick ... so an open bucket would be OK.
