5 day 4 night Margaret River and surrounding area

We will be traveling from Perth to Margaret River at the end of November and we plan to spend 5 days in the area. We have a 15 month old extremely active toddler and we have to plan an itinerary to allow sufficient breaks to stretch his legs.

1. Where should be plan our stops on the way up/down Margaret River? I reckon we need to take a pit stop every 1.5 hours or so before he goes nuts.

2. Besides Margaret River, which other location(s) would you suggest my family could spend a night or two.

3. Any other suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

By ‘Margaret River’ you are probably referring to the whole region. Useful information here for the journey there and what to see and do in the region;

You could easily fill in all your days I. The region. However,what can be nice is a loop from MR across to Pemberton ( farm stay for a night or two) then return to Perth with stops for your toddler to run around in the little towns of Bridgetown, Balingup and Donnybrook.

The people at the Visitors Centre in the little town of Margaret River are also very experienced and helpful.

Hi so many great options, Naturaliste Reptile park, Simmos icecreams, Amaze, Yallingup Maze, Anniebrook Flowers, farm & Wine, Sunflowers Animal Farm, most breweries have great kids playgrounds, quite a few wineries are family friendly. The visitors centers have a list of family friendly activities.

Accommodation kid friendly & animal options, Yelverton brook Eco Spa Retreat & Conservation Sanctuary, Kerriley park farm stay.

Dunsborough & Busselton have shallow beaches great for kids, walk the jetty in busselton with underwater observatory at the end, can catch a train both ways if preferred.

Yallingup Shearing Shed etc:

Millers Icecreams, chocolate factories, Cheese factories. etc:

Plus alot more...........
