Well done Margaret River.
I remember well, staying down there in the 70's...aaah, the serenity.
You're well overdue for a re-visit Sue !
Theres been a couple of more wineries opened up since then ;-)
<<I remember well, staying down there in the 70's...aaah, the serenity.>>
Nannup is still like that!
Oi...stop trying to move the spotlight Numbat
Yes, we do need to get back and visit the south west..I do love the area and it was a regular holiday destination for us as children and young adults...though it might have to wait until we move back to Perth.
ps those Numbats love the spotlight....they are a bit special.Edited: 06 December 2012, 03:22

Oh gawd, dont encourage him Sue!
I need NO encouragement.....
Last year they shot a movie called 'Drift' (soon to be released) about MR in the '70s - they had to do the exteriors in Nannup. I think it was the 1970s they were after, but the 1870s would work just as well........
As for the serenity:
Nannup looks like the place to be Numbat....when we stayed in Margaret River way back then, you would only see a car every 20 minutes or so on the main street.
I give up!!
I should have posted this thread on the Nannup forum.
Oh thats right....Nannup doesnt HAVE a forum does it!
Its too damn serene to have one!
