Gunlom from Pine Creek - Access

I am staying in Pine Creek and want to go to Gunlom falls in my 2WD.

Can someone tell me how long it will take to get there from Pine Creek as I am reading various things? How much is dirt road?

The first bit along the Kakadu Highway is quite excellent bitumen, but all the way from the turnoff to the campground (about 25km) is dirt.

It will take about 2 hours. The dirt bit should be taken slowly.

No real problem for a 2WD unless it is low slung and could scrape the rear end on a creek crossing.

The dirt section had some heavy corrugations about 6 weeks ago and probably still has, don't let it put you off but take it easy and slowly.
