Karratha Backpackers

Does anyone know if the backpacker hostel in Karratha is still open? The phone number that appears on the web has been disconnected and the email address doesn't work.

If it is still open can anyone advise how to contact them?

I can't help other than to suggest you contact the Karratha Visitor's Center:

It is still open, however it is very hard to get in. Its not like the usual backpackers where everyone drifts in and out. People move there to work and make money so they hire there rooms out for a few months to each person. Its expensive as well.

I have been told by a local that the Karratha Backpackers has been purchased by McDonalds to house their workers
