Driving from Brisbane to Airlie Beach

Hi

Anyone have a caravan park to say about half way between Brisbane and Airlie Beach not to far off the Bruce Hwy so easy to jump back on. Just need a powered site only really stopping to let the kids have a break and sleep over night and head off first thing in the morning.

TIA

Caravan park right on the highway at Benaraby, just south of Gladstone, but you will probably get truck noise at night. You could drive into Gladstone, Barney Point Caravan Park very quiet. For my money, I would keep driving another 90 minutes to Rockhampton, stay at Southside Holiday Village.
