Charter boat for 10 people for one day

My group of 10 will be in Airlie Beach for one day on 8 July 2014 when our cruise ship docks for the day.

We have been trying to find someone with a boat to charter for the day (probably 5-6 hours) and have had trouble being able to find one for one day. We don't require a sail boat and only need a half cabin or cruiser or similar that can pick us up at Abel Point Marina and take us for a bit of a cruise around the Whitsundays to Whitehaven Beach and stop for lunch at Hamilton Island.

We would much rather hire a private charter than take shore tours with the other cruisers, which we know will be busy. Does anyone have any ideas of who I could try to charter a suitable boat for the day?

Tried the sailing club however they advised me that their members are not licensed for commercial passengers.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
