Scenic Railway Fare - Can you buy ticket at the bottom?

Hi. We're thinking of doing the Round Walk starting at Echo Point and going down the stairway, and wondered if you can buy tickets/pay for the Railway at the bottom rather than having to visit Scenic World to pay at the start? Any help much appreciated. Also, if anyone else has done this route do you know how long this would take going back to Echo point via the cliff walk? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can buy tickets for just a one-way trip up.

Just over half an hour for the walk..

If you want to do a shorter walk, you can take the Scenic Skyway from Scenic World across the valley and get off at the Eastern station which is closer to Echo Point.

If you don't want to walk at all then the public bus that goes past Scenic World also goes to Echo Point.

You can hop on the train without a ticket, when you get to the top you will then be able to buy a ticket. A one way ticket is $14.
