First of all the Mooloolaba Yacht club has not been in operation for over 12 months and the rest are upmarket or not in the area.

These suggestions are more in line with what is happening today and if you need help send me a hoy via message link.

The Boatshed is the best environment

Ebb is on the River but not as good

The wine bar has one of the the top chefs in area

best idea is to get married on the Beach or such like .... find a good Penthouse and get a gourmet caterer in to do the biz.

Yes - I second the boatshed... fantastic restaurant, one of the best I've been too ever.

Not sure if it is big enough to cater for 100 people, but worth enquiring about

Hi gskag,

I went by The Boatshed the other day and it does look great. Unfortunately I haven't eaten there yet but by fellow T/A's reviews it's got to be good.

There are often wedding ceremonies hels at the Mantra Mooloolaba Beach resort. The y have an area at the front which overlooks the beach. Check their website for details.

Alot of the weddings end up at the Earth Bistro. This is a part of the Mantra complex and just next door to where the open air nuptuals are held. I haven't been to a reception here but have watched many a wedding there.

Hope this helps

maroochy surf club? has reception room with glass wall floor to ceiling over looking the beach. good if you don't want to blow the budget. I know the boat shed would be expensive.

i've lived in mooloolaba for 20yrs. know the area.
