News reports are that Noosa is not greatly affected. In any case, unless there is further unexpected heavy rain, the present flooding in SE Queensland will have gone well before you arrive.

Hopefully; the weather will improve this week. Noosa is currently experiencing big seas which makes it dangerous for swimming. Lets hope the sun shines in Qld soon !!

All the sunshine coast is still being battered by large seas.

There is erosion at noosa beach but they are going to commence sand pumping once the sea settles so that should expand the beach again. The river is pretty dirty but will clear. There is no major infrastructure issues like up north in bundaberg and Gympie

Hopefully all will be OK in 2 weeks.

Just been there, and Noosa has survived the rain and winds pretty well. The worst thing is the trashed beach, but still swimmable, especially at the sheltered end. Noosa seems to have come out of it very well compared to many other places.

It's sunny, hot and beautiful. Many places have been thrashed in QLD however we will bounce back quickly. Come on over!

The main problem right now is humidity. Many people have mold growing throughout their houses.

>>Many people have mold growing throughout their houses.<<

Sorry, but what a load of rubbish. How many houses have you been in that his this mold growing through their house? How big was your survey?

Yes, it is humid. Yes, some mould may be evident in a small percentage of homes.

But it isn't the "main" problem. In fact, it isnt even a small problem.

All my family on the Sunshine Coast have mold in their houses. So, a small sample, admittedly. But according to them it is the main weather-related problem at the moment.
