vegeterians travellers

Hi,

just wondered if anybody could recommend any good places to eat which have good

vegetarian selection(don't eat fish or eggs) on a budget as it's a family of 5 near where we are staying and in the centre.

You might enjoy Earth Cafe. There are, in fact, two Earth Cafes, both located to the south of Djemaa al-Fna, one just off rue Riad Zitoun el Kedim, the other on rue Riad Zitoun el Jedid. Options include such delicacies as filo pastry filled with pumpkin, spinach, goat cheese and apple sauce (70 dirhams), to be washed down with a drink of beetroot and ginger orange (20 dirhams). Not your every day Moroccan food, nor the cheapest, but certainly interesting.

Hi,

The Souk Kafe has a vegetarian and vegan selection on their menu as well as traditional meat dishes.
