Area round Wild Wadi - Madinat, JBH, Burj Al Arab etc

Hi, we will be in Dubai in just over a weeks time. Really looking forward to it!

I have one day marked for Wild Wadi but was thinking that after we are done there we could maybe have a bit of a look round the Jumeirah hotels nearby in the late afternoon. This would be mainly to take a few nice pics and have a look round the Madinat complex, which I've heard is really impressive.

Was just wondering really if this is all doable on foot? Is there a recommended route we could take from wild wadi? As non guests what can we see at Madinat and would it be worth it?

All subjective I know but any opinions would be appreciated! :-)

The Wild Wadi is right next to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and a stones throw from the Madinet complex next door. I don't think you can just walk into the hotel if you are not a guest. The beach outside is private too.

However there is the Souk Madinat which is perhaps what you are thinking about. It is open to everyone, has shops to browse in (albeit expensive) and loads of places to eat at. There is the waterway outside the front of the complex and you can clearly see the Burj Al Arab from here too.

To get to the Madinat from the Wild Wadi is a very short distance. It's only a few minutes walk and you can't miss the route. Have a nice time.
