Water Park

Can anyone tell me if it will be safe to go to Wild Wadi in May regarding the heat? Just heard a few whispers that stepping outside the hotel will be difficult enough when temperatures are hitting the 40's, let alone go to a waterpark where you won't get much shade!

You'll be wet if you are going on rides so you'll be cooler than just walking the streets. There are sun loungers with umbrellas and plenty of shade in other areas.

It's always packed out even in August when it's hotter.

The perfect place to be when its hot.

I always wear a swim shirt in the summer months but good sun factor protection and lots of shady places make it perfect.

Is it best and cheaper to book tickets from the UK or can you just go straight there and pay upon entrance?

You can pay at the door but check out the Entertainer voucher book for 2 for 1 vouchers which will save you money. There's a link to info about it under Top Questions about Dubai on the right side of the Dubai forum (as opposed to this forum, Emirate of Dubai).
