Lookking for clear clear water

Where is the best place on the main island to find really really clear blue water, the kind that feels like you are in a swimming pool?

Ah the quest for the clearest water, Here on the west coast, in RIncon, barring a swell or rough weater the water is beautiful and clear, with incredible visibility, remember our sand is golden, not white, and that's why the water does not have that sharp azure color like the Bahamas, if you go out in a boat, away from the shore, where the bottom is whiter, the water appears a prettier color blue. Crash Boat in Aguadilla has beautiful water on a beautiful day. Today in Rincon March 7, the water was a gorgeous blue-green, from my balcony I could see clear to the bottom, and the reef that is about 50 feet from shore. WHen there is a lot of rain and the rivers empty into the water, it takes on a brackish hue, the sad thing is that when this happens all the trash that is abandoned on the roadsides, eventually finds its' way to the rivers, and the rivers dump into our ocean, it's a sad thing and the litter in PR is a big deal, if everyone would do a better job of not littering we might find all the waters clearer in PR, Please help Keep our oceans clean!

If you want to visit a real clear blue water in PR visit Playa Flamenco in Culebra.

Sure bet, one of the islands just off the coast of Fajardo( Palomino,Palominito,Icacos Cayo Lobo). Is not rare to catch + 50 feet visibility.

Mainland depends on swells and how much rain due to rivers' output.

The clearest water I know of is at Orchid Beach or Navio Beach ( when calm) in Vieques or Punta Soldado in Culebra. and white sand and blue blue, turquoise waters... It is extremely rare to get that kind of clarity around the big island of Puerto Rico.. You have to wait for that exceptional day , when it has not rained in ages, and the seas are calm..

but, taking a local fishing boat ( motorboat) from Las Croabas ( near Fajardo) out to Icacos Key ( Cayo Icacos) is the closest you will get on the mainland.....

Gilligans Island can have water that clear ( near Guanica)
