Annu:

I doubt that you can buy tickets to the Corrida Goyesca. The tickets are sold only to people who have influence (rich people who have connections) and the tickets cost several hundred euros each. The tickets are assigned to people who bought them in the past and it is impossible for a tourist to buy them. I know this because I have neighbors who go every year.

Oh omg 0_0

Thank you for that information.

What else there would be then?

We going to stay only one night in Ronda. So what would be best day then?

Feria would be nice to see anyway.

Take a look at the top questions on the right panel. You do not need anything special to enjoy Ronda.

While I don't doubt BennyMalaga's expertise, I went to the fería in 2009 with the express intent of tracking down tickets to the Corrida Goyesca. It was the year Cayetano's suit of lights was designed by Armani. The only way to buy tickets is to be in Ronda before the bullfight. I took the chance. On my first attempt, simply walking past a re-seller's window on the day I arrived and seeing tickets to the Goyesca advertised, I bought one for about €90. I was overjoyed. Perhaps I got ridiculously lucky, I don't know. But it is not impossible, and the price was not in hundreds of euros (what I had also expected). This was the year following the Global Financial Crisis and Spain's subsequent meltdown. I suspect this had an effect on the ticket prices, and perhaps still does.

Hi,

If it is of any use for anyone, just to let you know that I bought tickets to Corrida Goyesca in Ronda this year, on internet. I live in Romania, so I ordered the tickets to be delivered to the hotel I was staying in Spain. The price written on the tickets is 110 Euros, but I have paid much more, as I bought them online, however, the corrida was indeed worth.

enchufismo

is a delightful Spanish word meaning "pulling strings" or "cronyism"...having connections !

In Benny's message about getting a ticket for the Corrida Goyesca he says:

"The tickets are sold only to people who have influence (rich people who have connections) and the tickets cost several hundred euros each."

My view on this so called "enchufismo" is that with the wakening of Spain with the internet and the new channels of communications it makes the "old boy network" far less important because there is so much you can discover using the Internet. No longer a secret society of those who are "in the know" and becoming more of a transparent and open society with even entry to Corrida Goyesca available to all at a price.
