More Sonisphere help. Train Station/hotel/lockers etc.

Well Sonisphere has changed its location and we have changed our flight to Prague due to Wizz Air flight cancellation (with no reason given and no one is answering the phone).

Anyway we now fly into PRG on Thurday night and are looking for a hotel/hostel somewhere near the centre and close to the train station. Any suggestions? Budget around £25/35 per night were not to fussy, clean and safe basically is our requirment.

Will be checking out early Saturday and taking the train to Milovice for the festival. Back to Prague sometime Sunday and will be needing a hotel for 1 more night.

Just wondering if it would be possible to leave some stuff (1 bag) with a hotel while we are at the festival or are there any lockers at the train station?

We are 2 males aged 40 from England so somewhere not to far from the action would be nice but not really in the middle of it. Thanks

hey im having real problems trying to find out how to travel from prague to sonisphere and back to prague and how much to pay etc, any help is greatly appreciated. also go to expedia as you will find some great deals on hotels, my advice is stick to a hotel with the postcode praha 1 upto praha 4. that way your closer to the centre hence safer and more convenient! any help via txt would be great! 0771717 6302

Now that the festival was moved from Mimon to Milovice (former military airport Bozi Dar - 2 kilometres from Milovice station) it is very easy to get there by train, either from Hlavni (Central) railway station or from Masarykovo railway station (town centre), need to change in Lysa nad Labem, 1 hour journey, 57 crowns (about £2) per ticket each way.

Check timetable on this website.

I would not include praha 4 in that statement

And if Prague 3 is selected then go for anything with the Seifertova address as its a main road with tram stops and a 5 minute tram trip into town. Olsanka is at the end of Seifertova. Bit safer than wandering around Zizkov backstreets after dark.
