Am off to Prague on 27 may for 4 days on a stag doo how much are you likely to pay for a pint of lager ?
depends where you go.
If you are in the Irish /Briish bars expect to pay 60kc+for a local beer and 90kc plus for any other beers,Local beers are much better anyway. in ohter places in and around the tourist areas about 40kc is the average though in the higher end tourist bars 60Kc+ is more likely.
In Nightclubs it could be a great deal higher, but I have no experience of these.
away from these places you should be able to get beer for about 35KC and probably a bit cheaper.
Just back from a week in Prague where the cheapest beer we had in Prague was 24Kc,but I refuse to divulge where.
away from Prague (Tabor) i was drinking beer for 21Kc.
You might just catch the last couple of days of the beer festival where you will pay 44kc for a beer
My prices refer to a 500ml measure ,bit short of a pint but the standard measure in the city.
how much is that roughly in sterling??
you are getting about 26-28kc /£ at the moment, so a 40kc beer would be about £1.55,a 60Kc beer £2.30 and if you are lucky enough to find a 24kc beer then just under a £

The cheapest place I found was at the zoo :-) 25kc, even in the main touristy streets you could get one for around 30kc. It was much cheaper than I had been led to believe but I was drinking in pubs rather than bars. The beer at the Strahov Monastery restaurant was 40kc for a 40cl but absolutely the best I have had in a very long time.
Thanks everyone for the replys just hope I get away now with that volcano erupting again
Little Italian restaurant to the right of the square and church
50KC a litre
Pints dont count in Prague
