Looking for a computer store in Prague

I am in Prague now but I seem to have left the powercord to my laptop back home in Austin, Tx! I have tried Tesco, Datart, and a small electronics store but they did nothav anything that would work. I am staying in an apt between the Charles Bridge and Old Town - does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find a computer store? Also, is there anywhere you can take your laptop and print somehing from it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm amazed that Datart didn't have anything. Did you go to the one in the Andel shopping mall? There won't be many places in the city centre as it is quite tourist-oriented and you will probably have to get out of the centre for something more specialist. Unless you have something that is totally incompatible, which is unlikely, you should find a power cord no problems.

If it is anything like its counterparts in Bratislava or Brno, in Tesco (either on Narodni or in Andel) there should be somewhere where you can do printing - you will need a flashdrive.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found one of the universal cables at Datart but it wasn't completely universal. It had all innies and I need an outie (if that makes sense).

PraguePivo - it's an Asus Netbook EE

Asterks74 - I wil be looking for an ElectroWorld today

I've just looked at Datart webpage - they do have it in the Andel store, but only including the adaptor, i.e. the whole power supply, not just a bit of cable. Quite expensive though but compatible with many well known brands.

That will usually be the case, i.e. you will have to get a universal adapter, including the transformer. If you look for a specific Asus adapter or single cable you will be looking all week, or longer :) Such adaptors are sold in many places and shouldn't break the bank.

Not just the plug adaptor , but the AC/DC current adaptor - Datart price circa 1700 Kc?

By the way, no need for plug adaptor in Czech, but for usage elsewhere.

That's the price I would expect - I think I paid 1400 for mine.
