for two persons, 4 courses?/

I've been to Prague 5 times and my husband travels there often as pilot. Do you think 48 pounds is alot for a french restaurant where you live?

The restaurant is quite new. No real info on it yet. Certainly expensive.

They haven't sold out the offer yet, but it looks close. And, yes, 1200 CK two persons, 4 courses. The menu is on the offer page, too.

Just be careful of the beverage prices. I recall stopping at a restaurant in Mala Strana offering a really reasonable lunch. We ordered a couple of beers and the bargain was wasted.

That is where restaurants make all their money - unless I am having guláš or svíčková I usually ask for tap water. 1200 Crowns is quite steep in my terms - it would have to be VERY good for that price ...

I would agree about tap vs bottled water. This includes a frizzante beverage.

I don't think per course average of $9US is high. The regualr menu prices show 2400ck for same.

The menu has some great sounding dishes. I just couldn't talk my husband into French food!!

PS--how do you say tap water in Czech? Phonetic would be helpful, please.

Cheers!
