New Years Eve events & things to do

My wife & I will be in Prague for New Years Eve and I am fidning it difficult to locate any information on events & things to do for the night (apart from the usual dinners, classical concerts & Black Light Theatre etc).

We're keen to hear about any rock / dance concerts or pub / club nights etc.

Any other suggestions of things to do would be appreciated...

Cheers;

Josh

Not easy to give you just one recommendation. The whole city centre is one big party usually, the programs on the squares. A big party is located on the area of Prague 7 - Exhibition ground (Výstaviště). You can look at the page: www.ticketpro.cz ,/ english/ Search: Silvestr. Silvestr - it´s Czech name for the December 31st.

Put attention for the transportation during the night. Public transport has a different time schedule, taxi should be arrange in advance.

Any other guestion?

So many options, I still haven't planned the night. I'd better get to it.

Where you want to be for the night? The city centre or not touristy area? What is the location of your accomodation? Do you want to be nearby or you don´t mind transportation? It can help.... I think, you can be definitely decided here, in Prague, for "the last minute".

I have an apartment in the city with my wife now for a few years. I'm going to let her make the choice.
