Park inn Prague and transportation

hi folk,

gonna be in Prague next Saturday, and stay in Park Inn Prague, I got some questions hope you folk can answer,

1) How far is Park Inn to the Main train station ? Is there any tram or train direct to Main train station ? Or do i have to changed in somewhere ?

2) I have friends stay in Ariston Prague, address Seifertova 65, is it easy to get there by tram or underground ?

3) Does underground or train run after midnight ? Because we might going to the club.

Thanks so much, appreciate it.

There is no direct tram from the Main Station to your hotel, the same to Seifertova. You need to change the trams from your hotel to No. 9, which goes to the both places. www.dpp.cz

The night trams are working in Prague during the whole night.

The best if you walk down from the hotel towards the Vltava embankment (200 metres or so) and take either tram number 30 direction Vystaviste (towards the centre) or tram 3 direction Lehovec - both for 4 stops to Lazarska and then take tram number 9 from the same platform to either Hlavni nadrazi(railway station) or one stop further Husinecka to visit your friends in Seifertova. The ticket will cost 24 crowns (validate on the first tram and use on the second tram without further validation....the ticket is valid for 30 minutes, and it should take about 20 minutes to get to Husinecka.

The normal day trams will run til about 1 a.m., then you would have to use the night trams

The website given above for prague public transport in English

click on Transport around Prague, and from the drop down menu select Journey planner....From Vyton to Husinecka.
