prague to Cesky Krumlov

In Romania we hired a private guide with car for a few days who provided the car, hotels, and meals of our choice. It was great. Any good ideas of a reliable tour operator who could take us from Prague to Cesky Krumlov for a night or two and show us the sights? We like museums, architecture and people. We will be in Prague for a week in the end of May. Thanks. Gary

Hi Gary,

I don't know much about private tours, as I have never taken one in CZ, but if you wanted to do it alone, it is very easy. Cesky Krumlov is a very small town, so there is no way that you will get lost. A train ticket there and back costs around $30 from Prague, and the train takes about 3 hours. Once you are there, you can find everything yourself with a good guide book.

One tour company that I see around Prague a lot is Martin Tour (www.martintour.cz). I don't know if they are good, but they have been in business for a long time, so I guess there must be something to that.

Happy travelling!

If you want to rent a responsible driver + car + organizer, you can contact Richard Nosek, +420 604 147 989, email: rich.A1@volny.cz

He can do also the other services for you (experienced thanks to many years in travel company).

Or - the service in Český Krumlov: www.ckvltava.cz

Have a nice time in Czech Republic!
