timing, choices tosee,etc

We will be in Prague thevery end of april for three nights , one afternoon and two full days.

Have flights, hotel, and am reading good guidebooks. .

Looking for an expert to advise re: what's really important not to miss, is it walkable (we do that everywhere..LONG walks) is there a site that should get a ticket ahead/ or.. wouldbe good with a guide?,,

also how about the weather that time of year?We arecomingform a visit to our daughter who lives in Andalucia, and that is quite warm but I'm thinking Prague will be cool.

Last .. although we are pretty good at figuring this out..are there any non fussy, local type restaurants not to be missed?

thanks for any tips.

Prague is a very compact city ,so providing you are staying in the center every where is very walkable ,having said that if you are further out there is a great transport system in place ,have a look at the top quesions on the right regarding Transport ticket warnings.

IMO there is no need for a guide ,I think it is more fun doing the sites on your own and following the Royal Route is good way to go

As for the weather no one can predict that except to say it will probably not be as warm as Andalucia, the trick is to dress in layers then you can take off or put on what you want when you want.

For restaurants I suggest you look at TA reviews ,just remember the further away from the center you go the cheaper it will be .
