beer from airport to take home?

Looking at bringing a few bottles home.

Is there a good selection in the airport?

Whats the prices like?

Is there a limit?

theres no limit but you need to place it in your hold luggage. The Billa Supermarket Tejashombre metions has a reasonable selection. but the supermarkets in the city as well as some specialist beer shops have a better one.expect to pay 14-20 kc for a can of the better known brands

once into airside the prices really shoot up and the cheapest cans and bottles are around 45-60kc. You can get 1.5 liter bottles of Kozel in one shop for around 85-89 Kc,I last bought it in early June, but watch for the dates on the bottle as there were pretty short coded. The selection is reasonable, there is an Italian style shop/ resturant near section B of terminal 1 that has a good selection of bottled beer again about double to treble the price you pay in the city but all the shops will pack them in security bags for you to take on the plane.

In Prague airport you actually go through security just before you go on the plane so be aware that you must have all your liquid in the 100ml size or that your stuff bought in the airport are in the security sealed bags. They do make careful inspections of these at security.
