Oops sorry about that!I am researching our first break in Prague with the wife and would like someone who knows the city to advise on wether our plans make sense.
Hoping to fly in on Sunday afternoon Feb 9th.Bus or cab from airport to Pod Zevi (the hotel we are considering) and need to get out to the 02 for a concert that evening.
Thereafter we'll do the main sights for another two days before flying home on Weds 12th Feb
What's best way of getting out to the O2 from this hotel and do we have enough time?Plane due to land at Prague airport on the Sunday at 3pm.
Hi, I assume that you mean Hotel Pod Vezi? The closest tram stop to the hotel (about 200 m away) is "Malostranské náměstí", from where you have several options (at least one change) to get to the O2 arena. All of those travel options will take about half an hour. spojeni.dpp.cz/ConnForm.aspx?tt=PID&cl=E5 Here you you can find timetables, just fill in "Malostranské náměstí" as a starting point and "O2" as a destination.
If your flight is on time, there won´t be any problem making it to the arena in the evening.
Thanks very much Petrij2.
ahhh ENNIO MORRICONE, looking forward to it myself ;-)
Praguepivo, can you suggest how I should buy tickets for the concert please?I would like the option of a ticket site that allows me to print off the tickets at home.Does one exist?
ahhhh The Good, the Bad and the Ugly . lucky you..hope I am wrong but don't think you can buy on line.
Try going here to buy tickets:
I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I'll actually be at the same place a day later for the Depeche Mode concert. Two great shows back to back.
If you are in Czech Rep than no problem but if you are not, then read the guidelines...I don't think you can order, pay and print on line.,
It says on the link I sent: "Orders from abroad: Via internet, on-line payment (credit card)." So it must be possible to purchase from abroad. Perhaps the OP will have to pick the tickets up at a Sazka terminal. If so, then that shouldn't be a problem, since they are everywhere. I would recommend going through the whole process of buying the tickets and seeing what happens.
