Another question re: where to stay

Active couple in our late 60's, used to doing a lot of walking during our trips.

Looking at Constans hotel near castle vs golden Prague residence.

Will we tire of crossing bridge to find restaurants, things to do/see after we see siites on castle side.

Not up to the summer crowds near old town.

Want to stay under$125/night.

Maybe between log /new town

Do like to sit/sip and people watch

4nights

plenty of places to eat and hang out on Mala Strana side...you won't need to cross the bridge to search for restaurants ....

other things to do as well...Petrin Hill, Petrin park, technical museum, funnicular etc

2. Re: Another question re: where to stay

Constance is in a hilly area and not exactly next to public transport (there is a bus but may not run in the evenings) but if you don't mind that lovely location. If you do mind the uphill walks, stay in Golden Residence.

4. Re: Another question re: where to stay

Friends stayed here several months ago and they are not walkers by any means and they managed fine.

Nope, certainly not as hilly as SF

less than 600 yards to tram service

I believe they offer airport pick up which is a plus

location gets a 4.5 out of 5 on TA

sort of in an alley way..narrow street...little foot traffic and almost no traffic on that street

block away from US Embassy

use Street View via Google
