Taxi Hire

Hi,

I would like to hire good reliable taxi service to visit LEGOLAND and Bratislava each on a day trip from Prague.

Can anyone suggest good and reliable taxi agency and approximate cost for the two day hire for these destinations.

Thanx in Advance.

They are both quite far for a day trip, min 4,5 hours each direction, are you sure about day trip?

Well, both CAN be done in a day. Many Czech schools take kids to Legoland for "day trips", which means boarding a bus in Prague in the wee hours of the morning, driving the kids 4-5 hours to Gunzburg, and then driving them back in the evening, getting in at around midnight. I think it is torture for the kids.

Bratislava is possible in a day - it is about 3 hours each way without stops and driving the speed limit (which isn't always possible due to construction and traffic). I often go on business trips for the day. But it is a LONG day. And to be honest, it is not really worth the hassle. Better to take a day trip to Cesky Krumlov (also long), Kutna Hora, Karlovy Vary, Olomouc (best by train) or Brno.

Depending on how many people but say 1 - 4

Lego land CZK 9500 or EUR 350

Bratislava 7800 or EUR 290. You would also have to pay for parking at legoland

I'll have a guess....Prague to Bratislava 3 - 3.5 hours depending on traffic

Prague to Gunsburg(sp)....5 hours

that's each way.
