Translation, please

We bought a pottery plague with a cute cat and the word 'spajzik'. I tried looking it up on google translation but it did not translate! There is a curved mark over the S and an accent mark over the i. Can anyone tell me what it means?

It means "pantry" and is very expressive slang, but in a cute way. That's why it didn't translate. The cat is there so that mice don't go into the pantry.

Darn. Tilly beat me by 2 minutes.:-)

It´s dimunutive of "špajz", which is slang for "spíž". Pronounced "shpayzeek"
