Direct Euro withdraw from ATM in Prague

Hello Guys,

I want to withdraw some Euros in Prague because my maestro debit card is in Euro.So i searched a lot and found below info.

1. Reiffeisen bank ATM at prague main rail station

2. Travelex ATM in Prague Airport.

From this ATM we can withdraw Euro directly.

Can you please advice me about the authenticity if this info and which one would be better ?

Feel free to add some more location if you already know.

To answer your question, yes you can get Euros at some ATMs...and correct there is a Reiff. bankomat at the train station.

And where will you spend/use your Euros?....You need Czech money when you visit Czech Republic i.e. Czech crowns/koruna.

yes you can take your money form ATM at train station...

Again, why do you want Euros? It is NOT the official money of Czech Republic....

only some restaurants (McDonald's) and some souvenir shops will take your Euro but it is a bad exchange rate....

You can not use Euro at the metro station, tobacco stand, supermarket etc. !!!

Good luck, I hope you understand that only a few places will take your Euros...and your change is given in Czech money

Don't use euros in the Czech Republic. If you need euros for some stuff (that's your business - I would question buying stuff from someone in the Czech Republic who only wanted euros) exchange your money at home before you leave (NOT at the airport), and if you do happen to find an ATM that gives you euros expect to lose about 20% instantly.

Exactly what GCEK said. If you take out euros from a Czech ATM, it doesn't go straight from euros to euros. You go from euros to crowns and then back to euros, as the currency here is the Czech crown. You will pay twice the transaction fee.

why are you wanting Euros? you don't need them in the CR.

If you need them for other countries them get them from an ATM once in that country.
