Looking for a City Walk

Hi!! I'm visiting Poland in two weeks time. I'm going to Poznan, Gdansk, Warsaw, Krakow and probably Wroclaw if i have the time.

I'm trying to get a writen City Walk to follow in those cities. But cant find anything on the Internet. For instance, if i type "Poznan city walk" I just get to private agencies who offers the tour by paying quite a good money and I just want to walk through the city by myself.

Please, does anyone know how can i get a City Walk for any of the cities i have mentioned??

Thanks a million!!

A guidebook "In your pocket" will help, You can find it in each hotel at the reception. There is a map and all infos You will need.

There are many offers concerning city walks in Wroclaw. Just google "Wroclaw city walk" and you will get what you want. The same with other cities.

Poznan's old city is fairly compact. Even without a prescribed walk, you can pretty much cover everything on your own. It's a lovely place - enjoy!

In Krakow there are some great little guidebooks that you can buy in the better bookshops - they're square and there's one for the Old Town, another for Kazimierz and a third for Nowa Huta. They have walking trails and tell you what you're looking at. I use them whenever I have friends to visit and even though I feel like I've seen everything a million times, I always learn something new.

Sounds interesting, Ewa. What are the names of these books? Or the name of the publisher?

In Krakow you only need to go on Main Market Square – then you will know everything. You can walk around all Main Market Square alone, same with Kazimierz District. If you want more detailed informations you have to search on facebook site of 3dtraveladvisor – you will find informations about monuments, restaurants and ways to spend spare time. Very interesting site.
