It will take you around 20-30 minutes to walk to the Old Town. Just walk down ul. Starowislna and it will take you straight there.

Stayed there and used the tram. It was cheap and easy. Liked the hotel very much.

use the trams in krakow since you are on the other side of the river....cheap,easy,efficient and fun...go all over town...buy a doba....a 24 hour pass....make sure you have it verified in a machine on the tram the first time you get on.....or you may be fined!...even if you are going just a few stops to kazimierz its worth it...ask at your hotel they will tell you how it works
