Bonarka City Centre

Hi all!

I'm off to Krakow for the first time ever on Thursday - really looking forward to it!!

We'll be staying in the Andels hotel and whilst we know that the Galeria Krakowska will be right on our door step there, we're wondering if it would be worth making the trip to Bonarka City Centre?

Is the shopping mall there bigger/better than G.K?

How far is Bonarka City Centre from Andels Hotel? Is it easy to get a bus / tram there?

Or how much would a taxi be? Would it be worth making the trip there?

Thanks in advance! :)

In terms of size Bonarka City Centre is bigger than Galeria Krakowska. Difficult to say if it's better or not. For sure less crowded and in my opinion nicer.

Bonarka is located around 6 kilometers ( 3,5 miles ) from Andels Hotel. Taxi would cost about 20 PLN (on Sunday, in traffic jams or late evening more).

You can also take bus no. 179 (direction os. Kurdwanow) to get to Bonarka from your hotel. The bus stop is located at the Kurniki street (few minutes walk from Andels).

Have a nice stay in Krakow!

They're both huge, anonymous shopping malls, with the same brands in each. In addition, Bonarka is way out of town so you'll waste time in Krakow's legendary traffic jams getting there. There are far more interesting things to see (and buy) in the real city centre!
