http://www.kantor.krakow.pl/ rate here is 4.96. yeah UK rate is always dismal Yes avoid the Kantors with the yellow\orange shop frontage they are called Interchange, also look for the inserted Zero trick say rate is 4.96 in most Kantors some dodgy ones will display 4.096 and that is a big difference if you are exchanging a few 100 pounds. I always exchange about £50 in the UK and the rest in Krakow, take only Bank of England notes they will not accept Scottish or Ulster bank notes

No problem mate,

Have a great time, i wish i was there just now, but will be next June before i get there and down a few Tyskies and vodka :) If you drink off the main square or down in the Kazimierz area(Jewish district) you will get a beer for around the £1.50- £2 mark on the main square more like UK prices, wee local pubs and cafes are cheap and really cool, but if you need a full English and watch the footie then The Irish Embassy Club just of the main square will meet your needs 3 bars on 3 floors and the grubs pretty good http://www.irishmbassy.com/ site seems to be down just now though,

Yeah site seems to be down, a few yards from The Irish Embassy again just of the main square are to other Brit pubs, English Football Club http://www.efckrakow.pl/?sLang=en

Bull Pub http://www.efckrakow.pl/?sLang=en .

If yo go down to the Kazimierz Area (Jewish District) this is where the locals hang out lots of funky\cool pubs n clubs to drink and dance away the night.

3 of the most popular are in no particular order

Singer..... www.local-life.com/krakow/pubs/25-Singer

Mechanoff............ http://www.cracowonline.com/104-Mechanoff-Pub

Alchemia............http://en.alchemia.com.pl/

Starka............... starka-restauracja.pl/eng/menu/menu_wine.php my favourite place to eat, Pork knuckle dish to die for and try their homemade flavoured vodkas perfect for this time of the year

Can you tell me if the Kantor's are open on Sundays's as I arrive next Sunday. Is the one in the Galleria which there has been posts about open on a Sunday.

I arrive at the bus station. Is it easy to find the Galleria from here?

Thanks.
