Any tips for keeping a 12 yr old boy amused Krakow?

Arriving Sunday 8th for 3 days. The adults will be enjoying Christmas Markets and Sight seeing but any ideas for keeping my grandson amused as I feel he will not be wanting 3 days of Christmas Markets. Thanks

Well, a number of the museums have active learning exhibits and other stuff that might keep his interest - the City Engineering Museum has lots of old cars and is housed in an old tram deport so there's a tram :) plus there is a 30-station learning centre. Or see what's on at the puppet theatre, or take him to the Polish Air Museum, or to a waterpark,. up in the balloon, Wieliczka Salt Mine would be pretty special for you all and it's only 10km out by public transport.

I think the Main Square Underground museum should be interesting for your grandson as well: http://www.mhk.pl/exhibitions/6
