Poland has its own currency, so no.

A few places will accept euros but their exchange rates are usually rubbish. There are plenty of places to exchange money around town and the rates are better than those you'd get back home, so bring your euros and change them here. There are also lots of ATMs around where you can use a bank card.

EUR is a legal tender in Poland, so theoretically you could. The practice is that even if you can, the exchange rate is .... unfavourable :), or / and you cannot use coins.

Ruth.....we took some local currency with us (about £200 sterling equivalent......) then just used our debit card at the ATMs - we usually used the 1 at the big Galleria shopping centre or at a bank in the centre.............we found this worked very well......

You should never change money at airports anywhere in the world! I always despair when I see people making a beeline to the exchange office at the airport - it is invariably the worst possible place to do it.

I keep seeing people say the rate is better out in Krakow than it would be here. Can anyone advise what today's rate is out there at the moment?

I can't see how it can be that much better??

Have a look at kantory.pl - it's around 5.14PLN/GBP today in Krakow.
