Prague Krakow Bratislav Budapest

Hello TA Members!

I need your advice regarding my itinerary. I am planning to visit the Czech Republic, Krakow, Bratislav, and Budapes. I am planning to travel in the middle of September (19 days approx.).

Day 1 - LAX to Prague (arriving the following day)

Day 2 - Prague

Day 4 - Prague

Day 5 - Cesky Krumlow

Day 6 - Prague (Terezin)

Day 7 - Kutna Hora

Day 8 - Prague to Krakow

Day 9 - Krakow (Auschwitz)

Day 10 - Krakow (Salt Mines - Wieliczka)

Day 11 - Krakow

Day 12 - Krakow to Bratislav

Day 13 - Bratislav

Day 14 - Bratislav

Day 15 - Bratislav to Budapest

Day 16 - Budapest

Day 17 - Budapest

Day 18 - Budapest

Day 19 - Budapest to LAX

Would it be advisable to squeeze a couple of days in Vienna between my stay in Bratislava and Budapest?

Does the itinerary above looks doable?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. In my opinion you planned too many nights in Bratislava, two nights would be more than enough as there is not much to see and do there (especially when compared to other cities you are planning to visit). If you are thinking of visitting Vienna then it's imho much better choice than Bratislava.

If you want to go, do Bratislava as a day trip from Vienna. Unless you have some very niche interests, a couple of hours should be sufficient.

Consider places such as Brno or Olomouc instead, both of which have more to see and do.

I am with the others on Bratislava, I was there again yesterday afternoon and honestly, as pretty as old town is, it can be easily covered in a day. I would stay in Vienna instead and do Bratislava as a daytrip.
