Wawel on the weekend?

Just how crowded does Wawel castle get on weekends? How early do I need to get there, and how much time should I set aside to see the place?

well you have to get ticketts anyway....and there are only a limited # sold so theoretically crowds or no crowds, the same number of people see the place.....for me the important question is what to see....the cathedral (ticketts sold separetly accross from the cathedral main door) to me is most important followed by the state rooms and then the museum....the living quarters to me is a waste of time since it was quite devastated and plundered....so get there as early as possible to get your tickett and assigned time

If I go on Monday when some of the things are free, do you think there are more people than on the weekend?
