Leaving Slovenia via AIR

Just curious if you are to fly out of Slovenia, do you have to cross immigration check out to leave the country? or do u just leave? thanks

It depends on the country you are flying to. If you fly to one of the Schengen area countries, you will only have to show your boarding pass and a valid ID/passport. Otherwise you will have to pass the usual passport control. (Beware: some of the EU countries are not a part of the Schengen area, UK for example.)

I have a connection in Frankfurt Germany from Slovenia, onward to Canada.

Both Germany and Slovenia are in the Schengen area. You will just have to present your boarding pass and an identification document.
