Slovenia in late August?

We were looking at staying 4 nights in Ljubljana (with a day trip to Lake Bled) in the last few days of August. What is the weather like? Is it very hot and humid? Would there be a problem with mosquitoes in Slovenia?

It is impossible to predict the weather, however, it is usually very pleasant at the end of august. Last year we had a wonderful Indian summer.

The mosquitoes can be a problem in some areas close to water, especially at the end of a day. Last year they were unusually active in the old part of Ljubljana. You should use repellents if you react badly to the bites.
