Slovenia with a 1-year old

Slovenia with a 1-year old

We are planning to visit Slovenia for 7-10 days in the beginning of September with our 1-year daughter. Is Bled a good choice? All we really need is a playground or some sand and some nice walking trails so that the kid can either ride in a cart or toddle/walk alongside. Or do you recommend something else?

Thanks!

Adam

Bled would be good! Family hotel Savica is perfect with free wellnes in Golf Hotel!

Bled is a very good choice. If you can, visit Slovenia a few weeks earlier. Bled is surrounded by high mountains and the weather can be unpredictable in September.

Also, consider Kranjska gora, it very child friendly.

There are some other child-friendly options. Most families with little children like Čateške toplice. There's a large pool complex which will keep you busy even if the weather is not perfect.

Please ignore the above post. Celje is a two-hour drive away from Bled. Unfortunately someone tries desperately to promote a certain wellness centre in Celje.
