Slovenia to Venice

Hi, I would like to ask which is the best way to go to Venice from Slovenia next year June?

I will be entering Slovenia from Zagreb. So will first stop in Ljubljana. But I also considering going to Bled. What is the train connection available from Slovenia to Venice?Ljubljana or Bled?

It will be great if someone can give me details on departure and arrival time also the price of the ticket for this one way route.

Thank you!

I believe I also saw the new Ljubljana-München timetable having less connections now (after the change). One less per day.

Sorry for the offtopic.

As far as connecting Slovenia and Venice, there are ferries that run in the tourist season. I have taken trains into Lju and Bled. The train stations in Bled are very small so if you get there before they open you can call a taxi from the pay phone.Sometimes it is a bit hard to get in/out of Slovenia but I think it is such a wonderful place it is worth a little effort.

Hi there!

Taking the train from Bled Jezero to Nova Gorica is a scenic and cheap option! Its just a hop to Gorizia station in Italy and then train to Venice. No problem. Again, check the Slovene Train Website for times and prices.

Highly recommended :)
