Budapest for 4 hours..

Can anyone help? I am flying into Budapest with a friend next Thursday, arriving at 2350 - We have a train to catch from the central station at 0400 in the morning - are there any late bars near to the station where we can spend a few hours and have a couple of beers whilst waiting for our train?

Thanks!

Thanks john - anything potentially a little less 'youthful'? This place looks great for me but I'm actually travelling with my father in law who is in his mid 50's - I'm not sure hw he'd cope!

I am no expert at late night bars, but my clear impression is that for the midnight-4am window is a young window (in fact, that's probably true many places, but surely in Budapest). On the other hand, I'm likely as old as your father and find Corvinteto pretty engaging from a sort of sociological perspective...

If you are heading to Keleti station (and, as romancitizen points out, that is only one possibility out of three; though it's the one I am assuming) then there are other ruin pubs in the area (which is ruin pub central, to the extent that any place could be categorized that way in widely-dispersed Budapest) and you could look around on

But most other places will be shut by midnight.
