My Budapest Review

I've got back from Budapest almost 2 months ago but I didn't have time to post some pictures to my website until now.

Needless to say Budapest left a lasting impression and I'm very happy that I was able to fit it into this Euro-Trip.

Here's my review as told through pictures

Some nice pictures,

I like the picture of the section of the (Fisherman's) bastion. This is a great spot for views of the city as well. Thank you for sharing with the forum.

I had a great time in Budapest, I knew that the city had great architecture but the whole vibe of the city was just great.

Thanks so much! We will be there for two short days in October and this has helped me refine what we must not miss. Will have to come back for the rest!

HelenR,

Only two days in Budapest? Ohh.... You are really going to wish you had a 3rd and/or 4th.

2 days is doable, but don't expect to see everything.

I spent my first day up at Castle Hill and at night I checked out a ruin bar. We're not big drinkers so we went just for one drink which was a lot of fun.

On the 2nd day we checked out everything in the city.

I had 4 days total so on the third I went to the thermal baths and on the 4th I just kind of strolled around.

I used to try to go in every museum possible but now I'm happy doing just 1-2 and eating/people watching the rest of the time

Just a note on one of your captions. While St. Stephan's is probably the "most important" in Budapest, it is by no means the most historic. And it is very much debatable that it is the most important in Hungary.
