Just returned from Budapest , went for an inital consultation at Kerativdentist. UK dentist said that I need implants to replace bridge, Budepest dentist said he would not recommend implants, but suggested taht I have my bridge replaced.

Cost is a 3rd of UK dental plan.

Stayed in hotel recommended by dentist- everyone there having work done on their teeth. All seemed happy with work.

I am planning to return in March to have the treatment.

I had my treatment with Dentist Abroad ,5 implants and several fillings .in August Going back shortly for the second stage of attaching permanent crowns to the implants .Can highly recommend my experiences and treatment ,no problems what so ever .Staff very helpful ,and taking my two sons on this next visit for some dental work .Hope this helps .

I am looking into getting treatment done by Dr Batorfi through Dentistabroad and although the testimonials on his website make good reading it is also good to see other testimonials not associated with the website. I can assume that with what you have been writing that you are more than happy with the treatment giving to yourself.

Ive also had another dentist recommended by someone who had implants.. Europa Dental clinic.

Looks like i'll be sending my xrays to Dentistabroad & Europa, seeing which one comes out best & hopefully be having treatment in Budapest in March/April sometime. I'll see when they can fit me in and i'll get back to you

I too am going to Budapest 6th March- 13th March.

Did you make the appointment with the London office? as I am trying to go direct to Dentistabroad.

Also I understand that once the work is done, UK dentists will not touch you if you have a problem. Thats whats putting me off.

im sure thats not the case...but how would uk dentists know that you have had the work abroad- im sure you wouldnt have to say?

also- has anyone else heard anything about europa dental as that is where i am booked in in april to have veneers. thanks x

If you go on to www.telegraph.co.uk, look on travel section, and on 18 November 2006 they did a feature in the paper on having dental work done in Budapest, listing the surgeon, procedures etc. Might be worth a look if you are considering having some implants done.
