There is all information you could need about transport between vienna and bratislava...
We travelled to Vienna by bus. It took about 1 hour and was well worth it. The buses go from the Novy Most, we went at about 9am and returned at 4.30pm, I think there are about 3 or 4 a day. There is a little hut by the bus stop selling tickets and you buy the return on the bus coming back. It was about £3 each way I think!!!
P.S. Don't forget your passport!
Hope this helps
As far as I know the boat only runs in the Summer. Buses run every day from the main bus station for about 5Euro
We are a middle aged couple and want to travel in reasonable comfort.
Would it be a good idea to travel one way by bus or train (and which do people recommend?) and one way by the twin city liner?
We would be grateful for any help.
We're booked on the Twin City Liner which takes 75 minutes each way along the river. It's cost 80 euros for the two of us but we are travelling at the weekend and paid the extra to book front seats.
It travels at 55km to 60km per hour!
