Currency

Hi going to Riga for few days in September. Are Euro's used widely or is the lat better. And if so should we bring lat's with us or change locally. Are ATM's widely available. thanks in advance

you may get a couple of touristy places in the old town that will accept euro(and you wont get a good rate) but lats are the currency you need. atms are all over the place. i know the exchange is better with cash in riga for the UKP but not sure about the euro.
