We're visiting Riga for 2 days on Firday 7th and Sat 8th February. We plan to spend most of the time seeing Riga, with perhaps a bit of beach time ;) in Jurmala on the Saturday.
However, we're particularly interested in visiting the Ice Sculpture Festival in Jelgava on the Friday evening. So a few questions about transport:
What is the best way of getting there? From what I understand we can either catch a train or take a minibus. Is one of these a much better option?
The train station looks to be quite a long way from the Ice Sculpture park. Where do the minibuses go to?
Will we have any problems getting back?
What time should we be leaving Riga if we want to get to the festival for 18:00?
